25-year-old woman’s body found in Mountain Creek Lake

DESOTO, TX- On Monday afternoon, divers found the missing woman’s body of DeSoto in Mountain Creek lake.
The Dallas and Grand Prairie Police started the search for 25-year-old Yi Chan on Sunday.
Her family saw her last in their home on the 500 block of Olympia around 12 a.m. on Sunday.
Reportedly, she was in a depressed condition and her closest were afraid for her safety.
On Sunday morning, Dallas police found the victim’s car with the keys inside on Mountain Creek Parkway.
Later in the afternoon, the divers located Chan’s body and the Dallas County Medical Examiner confirmed her ID.
The authorities encourage anyone dealing with mental health illness to ask for help.
