TEXAS – According to the statement, the No. 12-ranked recruit overall in the 2022 class had been committed to the Sooners since July 2020 but is now looking to explore other options.

He is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver from Garland (Texas) High School and was the highest ranked player in Oklahoma’s class before he decommitted.

He had been committed for so long that he hadn’t released a top-schools list, but he had offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and plenty of other big programs.

Hudson is a big loss for the class, but having two top-50 receivers still committed is a good consolation, especially with plenty of time left for Oklahoma to fill Hudson’s spot.
