Established in 2010, this cute little cake shop sits in a historic building in Wylie Downtown. Wylie downtown has a century old charm and is known for their small business owned boutiques and shops. There are many wonderful family things to do in the downtown and this cake shop is our favorite place to stop by!
Say it with sugar makes some of the best artistic cakes, their fondant designs are carefully done to capture finest of the details. The moist spongy cakes in themselves are so inexplicable! Their designs are flawlessly created and they are sure to exceed your expectations! Oh, and their cupcakes are to die for! Just saying!
This small cake shop in Murphy (Just East of Plano) is owned by two incredible women, Gena and Estefania. They used to create their scrumptious treats at home before they finally decided to get together and start their own little shop, Two crazy bakers. Their red velvet and chocolate cakes are our favorite flavors from the place. Their cake art is one of the best in the town and the best thing about this cake shop is that they are pretty accommodating. We have had some last minute cakes ordered and made from this place. They are so welcoming and their baked goodies will guarantee satisfy your needs.
This is our only home based bakery recommendation, that we fell in love with the first time we had a chance to try her cake. It is owned by a former IT professional turned baker by passion, Sudha, yes, another woman owned business. This bakery opened last year, not very old, but Sudha has been baking from several years for her family and friends. Some of her flavorful cakes originate from her Indian traditional recipes and that is what makes Sudha’s cake studio so different and oh, so good!
She is very creative in her designs and her menu includes macarons and some wonderful cake jars! Her beautifully packed cake jars also make for very delightful party favors. And of course, she also does gift baskets, just ask for it!

They customize their cakes to meet your needs and their spongy, melt in the mouth cakes are so scrumptious!
