Plano’s animal shelter will offer free adoptions for several days in August
PLANO, TX – Plano will try in August to clear its animal shelter, waiving adoption fees from Aug. 24 through Aug. 29 and promoting the city’s animal services for much of the month.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, procedures are in place to encourage social distancing and limit the number of visitors allowed inside the shelter at one time. Anyone visiting the shelter during the “Clear the Shelters” promotion in August should wear a mask and should be prepared to wait to enter.
