DALLAS, TX – Saturday night’s boxing match at AT&T Stadium set an American indoor attendance record. The Super Middleweight Title Unification fight between Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders drew 73,126 fans. The previous American indoor boxing match record of 63,350 was set in 1978 when Muhammad Ali defeated Leon Spinks in a heavyweight title fight in New Orleans. In Saturday night’s bout Alvarez defeated Saunders with a 8th round T.K.O.
