A 24-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the chest area was brought in by private vehicle at the Charlton Methodist Hospital.
His name is Keith Slade and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Tamara Lilly was the main suspect in the death of the victim.
She turned herself into police officers at the South-Central Patrol Division.
The 24-year-old woman was subsequently transported to police headquarters and then to the Dallas County Jail where she remains held on the murder charge and a $200,000 bond.
