Houston woman shot, killed suspect during Sunday morning alleged robbery attempt

HOUSTON – According to the police officials, the alleged robbery may have been drug-related.

This incident occurred in the 15500 block of Fair Elm Court.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting call.

When the deputies arrived on scene, they found one male victim.

Police said the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman reportedly told authorities that she was arriving home when three Black men approached and tried to rob her.

The woman shot and killed one of the suspects while the other two fled the scene in a white, four-door sedan.

Her boyfriend exited the house and attempted to chase after the fleeing suspects.

The identity of the woman is being withheld pending grand jury review.
