A man was killed after a family member struck him with their car

TEXAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 1 a.m. Saturday.

It happened in the 900 block of S. Great Southwest Parkway in Grand Prairie.

The responding officers found a man lying in a parking lot.

His name is Gerardo Salinas and he was pronounced dead on scene.

His injuries indicated that he has been hit by a vehicle.

Authorities have discovered that he victim was involved in a family violence dispute with the suspect while driving.

The 61-year-old woman  pulled over in order for the man to leave the vehicle and walk.

She then circled the area and hit the man with the vehicle.

Her name is Anna Reyes and she has been arrested without incident and is being held in the Grand Prairie Detention Center charged with murder.
