Local News A man was shot and killed during a shootout in an Irving park Thursday afternoon Published 4 years ago on June 1, 2021 By Johnny Dubose Writer IRVING, Texas – According to the police, two groups of men and women showed up at Mountain Creek Preserve Park to fight. Gunfire erupted after the groups arrived, killing a 21-year old man. After that another 21-year old man who was at the fight showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators believe the incident was not gang or drug related. The investigation is ongoing. This story will be updated when new information is available.
