Accident on Southwest Freeway as car crashes into an 18-wheeler, one person dead

Houston, TX- On Friday, the emergency crews rushed to the Southwest Freeway when a car crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler and one person died.
Reportedly, the Nissan driver was speeding when he hit the rear of the semi-trailer and caught on fire. The 18-wheeler was going about 45mph in the southbound lanes.
Unfortunately, due to the injuries, the Nissan driver died, whose identity remains unknown.
It is not known if the 18-wheeler driver is injured.
The freeway has reopened since then.
