PLANO, TX – Beginning Monday, all adults in Texas and Fort Bend County will be eligible to receive available COVID-19 vaccines.

Although Fort Bend County is still at a Community Risk Level Orange, County Judge KP George said in a news release that he was glad for the expected increase in the vaccine supply from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

“The recent news that the DSHS has authorized all adults in Texas to receive any available vaccine is a game-changer that will help elevate the progress being made in our county toward defeating the coronavirus,” George said in the release. “We are close to 210,000 doses administered by Fort Bend County. I am excited to see these numbers climb higher.”

Fort Bend County residents can visit www.fbchealth.org to register to receive a vaccine. Alternatively, call 281-633-7795 for help if you do not have an email address or phone number.
