Authorities investigating after a man was killed outside a Dallas nightclub

Dallas, TX – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 2:25 a.m. early Monday morning.

It happened in the 1700 block of Botham Jean Boulevard, outside the 5 a.m. Club.

Dallas Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found male adult victim suffering from gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was shot in the neck and suffered life-threatening injuries.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say the club security detained the suspect until officers. arrived and also found the gun believed to be used in the shooting.
