Dallas police investigating homicide on Montfort Drive

DALLAS, TX — The Dallas Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at an apartment complex on Monfort Drive Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 12 p.m., on May 11, 2021, police say the victim, 24-year-old Dangelo Swann, was shot by an unknown suspect at an apartment complex at 14100 Montfort drive
“The victim left the scene with a witness and flagged down Dallas Fire and Rescue at a nearby location,” read a statement from the Dallas Police Department. “The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.”
