PLANO, TX – The city of Plano will operate on altered facility hours and trash and recycling pickup for the Thanksgiving holiday, according to the city’s website.
There will be no trash or recycling collections Nov. 26. Pickup will instead take place Nov. 27.
Additionally, city facilities will have adjusted hours for the holiday.
- Animal Shelter: closed Nov. 26-27
- Carpenter, Oak Point, Liberty & Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Centers: closed Nov. 26, open Nov. 27 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Day Labor Center: closed Nov. 26-27
- Environmental Education Center: closed Nov. 26-27
- High Point Tennis Center: closed Nov. 26, open Nov. 27 with regular hours
- Household Chemical Reuse Center: closed Nov. 26-27
- Interurban Railway Museum: closed Nov. 26-27
- Jack Carter Pool: closed Nov. 26-27
- Rowlinson Natatorium: closed Nov. 26-27
- North Texas Municipal Water District Transfer Station & 121 Regional Disposal Facility: closed Nov. 26-27
- Oak Point Nature and Retreat Center: closed Nov. 26-27
- Pecan Hollow Golf Course: closed Nov. 26, open Nov. 27 with regular hours
- Plano Aquatic Center: closed Nov. 26, open Nov. 27 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Plano Municipal Offices: closed Nov. 26-27
- Plano Public Library (Davis, Haggard, Harrington, Parr & Schimelpfenig libraries): closes Nov. 25 at 5 p.m., closed Nov. 26-27
