Meat Smell Sends People Away from Kroger in Frisco

FRISCO, TX – A very shocking thing happened last night to a neighbor living in Preston Vineyards. They went shopping at Kroger, but they were immediately sent away by the terrible smell inside!

How could this happen? Did you notice the same thing yesterday and all week?

How would you feel if you made a bit of time to go shopping for groceries but as soon as you walked inside the supermarket a suspicious smell surrounded you and made you feel nauseous? It looks like that’s just what happened at Kroger for one of your neighbors.

According to their post, “What did I smell tonight in that entire store? The spoiled meat smell was so, so bad did anyone other than me get out as quickly as I could ? We as shoppers deserve better than that.!”

Just a strange thing or piled-up indignation?

Was it only an isolated issue or something that’s been happening frequently? Several neighbors jumped on the thread to share their experience with this particular Kroger.

“Have never liked Kroger. Although 1 mile from my house will never shop there. Pass this store every time. Hope whatever was the problem there got corrected and no one ever shops there. Management is terrible”

“I went there for a few items two days ago. I smelled it then, usually I love this store. Not sure what’s going on. Maybe it’s from the freeze. Perhaps they just haven’t had time to properly clean or discard old items. It’s definitely something gone bad.”

“I have very sensitive nose. I can smell things that nobody would or could. Every time I go to that store it smells spoiled meat. 3 months ago, I told the storm manager and told me he cannot smell anything. I stop going there.”

“I have gone there for years and never had a problem except during pandemic when supplies were dwindled along w all other stores. Did you approach the Manager about it? I do have a very sensitive sense of smell so two days ago when I visited everything was alright. Meat case was fine.”

The affected neighbor had this to say: “only got as far as the pharmacy area really could not stand to be in there any longer that was about 9 o’clock last night. So didn’t speak to anyone about it, ironically I had to buy some Vicks for my chest nasal congestion I have going on that’s all I purchased self-checkout and left”.

“We stopped going there almost a yr ago. We love the meats at Tom thumb and Aldi has a fantastic produce dept! Meats are good there as well and fair prices. We used to take advantage of Kroger 10 for $10 but it’s really not a deal”.
