More than 110,000 people have voted so far in Plano
PLANO, TX – More than 110,000 people have voted in person in Plano since the start of early voting.
There are 12 early voting locations in Plano; however, Collin County residents can cast ballots at any countywide polling location during early voting and on Election Day.
Davis Library has been the most popular Plano polling location, with about 1,038 voters showing up each day on average. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church has seen the average daily turnout lowest turnout, at about 129 voters per day.
As of Oct. 28, 404,458 residents had voted either by mail or in person in Collin County, or roughly 62% of 648,670 registered voters, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s Office.
Statewide, roughly 8.5 million ballots had been cast as of Oct. 28. Collin County ranks sixth among Texas counties in terms of the most votes cast. Harris County leads the state with 1.3 million votes.
The nonprofit Vote America has released an online tool that tracks ballots as they arrive at elections offices across Texas. This will allow voters to check whether their mail-in ballot has been received.
