Motorcyclist died after crashing into fence near Circuit of the Americas, police say

PLANO, TX – A man died Sunday evening after crashing into a fence while riding his motorcycle near Circuit of the Americas racetrack in Del Valle, Austin police said Monday.
The crash occurred near the 9500 block of Circle of the Americas Boulevard, according to police. Authorities were notified of the crash shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. Police did not say what factors may have contributed to the crash. Authorities are still investigating the crash, Austin police said Monday.
The death was the 23rd traffic fatality of 2021, according to authorities.
