Some schools placing limits on showing Inauguration live to students
PLANO, TX – School districts across north Texas won’t be showing tomorrow’s Inauguration happening in Washington D.C. to students live, saying they are worried about possible violence because of on-going threats from extremist groups.
The Plano ISD has decided they will not livestream the inauguration saying they are “protecting students from potential unforeseen disruption.”
Keller ISD officials say they will record and edit the event and allow parents to opt out if they feel it necessary.
One father has a son who is in the Plano ISD and tells NBC 5 it doesn’t sit well with him.
