Tornado confirmed near Cransfills Gap, Texas

TX— The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down near Cranfills Gap, Texas Wednesday night.
The tornado was spotted around 7:08 p.m. near Cransfills Gap, or 10 miles east of Hamilton, the NWS reported.
Levi Newell, a meteorology student at Texas A&M, said the tornado has since lifted.
Severe weather also brought golf ball-size hail to the area.
A Tornado Warning was issued for Hamilton County until 8 p.m.
No other information was released at this time.
