Woman menaced by driver with gun in Plano neighborhood; police ask for tips
PLANO, TX – Plano police are seeking tips in two separate cases, according to a pair of Crime Stoppers bulletins shared by the department.
In one case, a woman walking in the 7100 block of Rembrandt Drive reported that the driver of a blue or teal Nissan Infiniti sedan first drove past, then pulled up behind her and pointed a gun at her. The woman called 911 and he drove away before police arrived, according to the crime bulletin.

Police are seeking any information related to the driver of the vehicle, described as a Black male between the ages of 16 to 20, who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. He was driving a blue or teal Infiniti sedan.
According to a separate bulletin, police are also attempting to locate Alex Maldonado, 19, who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct with a firearm. Maldonado, “considered armed and dangerous,” is is associated with a 2010 gray GMC Sierra pickup truck with Texas license plate KFD4351, police said.
Anyone with information in either case is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477. Crime Stoppers tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a person with an active felony warrant.
Tipsters are also eligible for rewards for information that leads to a felony arrest and indictment. Tipsters are allowed to remain anonymous.
