Plano city council earmarks $1.2 million to help residents pay for housing and bills
PLANO, TX – The Plano city council has carved out $1.2 million dollars to help residents weather the coronavirus pandemic.
The funds are intended to help residents pay rent, mortgage payments, and utility bills. It’s also to help with new housing if someone becomes homeless.
Another $200,000 will help businesses with 15 or fewer employees who are low to moderate income.
