Plano COVID-19 vaccination site closed Monday and Tuesday

PLANO, TX – Collin County’s COVID-19 vaccination site at John Clark Stadium in Plano ISD will be closed Monday and Tuesday because of the winter storm.
Residents who had appointments for Monday or Tuesday will be contacted by Curative, which is operating the site, with information about how to reschedule, the city of Plano said.
Another Plano vaccine site, operated by Texas Health Resources at the Sam Johnson Recreation Center, was closed Sunday and will remain closed Monday. Anyone who had an appointment after 5 p.m. Sunday will be contacted by Texas Health Resources with information on how to reschedule.

The city also noted that several grocery stores and pharmacies will soon begin offering the COVID-19 vaccine at select locations. The stores are expected to include Walmart, CVS, Sam’s Club, Kroger and Tom Thumb.
