Driver that ran red light and killed a man arrested on Sunday

PLANO, TX – The Plano Police arrested Angel David Velasco,34 and charged him with intoxication manslaughter for the crash he caused on Sunday at the intersection of Jupiter Rd. and E. Plano Pkwy.
Reportedly, Veasco was driving the 2006 red Chrysler Town and Country van northbound on Jupiter Rd. when he ran a red light, crashing into a 2019 white Hyundai Electra that was located westbound on E. Plano Pkwy.
The driver of the white Hyundai died at the scene. He was identified as 39-year-old Marcus Jarod Gerald, of Mullins, South Carolina.
Plano Police Traffic Unit is still investigating the case.
