City of Refuge to share update on urban farm

DALLAS, TX – Leaders at City of Refuge Dallas will host a community reception Wednesday to share progress on the urban farm development planned for Lake Highlands. The 12-acre project at 12000 Greenville Avenue near Forest Lane will host a farmer’s market, restaurant, coffee shop, co-working space and workforce innovation hub in addition to the urban farm to serve vulnerable residents and the surrounding community.
Wednesday’s event will enable neighbors to discover ways to get involved at the site, modeled after the highly successful Bonton Farms in South Dallas. The reception runs from 5-7 p.m. at Lake Highlands Tower, 9330 LBJ, 15th floor. You may RSVP at [email protected].
