Family and community celebrate the 100th birthday of a World War II veteran with a parade of 100 vehicles in Frisco

FRISCO, TX— It was an honor to have a wonderful life in Frisco today.
Born April 7, 1921, Barnett “Burney” Satter was celebrated outside of Saddlebrook’s memory care with a parade of 100 vehicles to commemorate his 100th birthday.
World War II veteran Satter helped release the Flossenbürg concentration camp.
He is currently three proud grandfathers and eight great-grandfathers.
His family said his memory was fading now, but his daughter said that such a day would continue to save his memory and sacrifice to his country.
