Local resident has been sentenced to federal prison for distributing child pornography

Plano, TX – According to the court, documents, his name is Edgar Raymond Miller and back in February, he pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of child pornography.

Miller was sentenced to 262 months in prison.

Miller admitted to communicating with others on through instant messaging about child pornography and the sexual abuse of children.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
