Officers shot a masked gunman at their headquarters Sunday afternoon
Plano, TX – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 12 p.m. Sunday.
It happened at the Plano Police headquarters, in the 900 block of 14th Street.
Officers shot the suspect, after he fired a handgun in the direction of a civilian employee and another person in the lobby.
Police say only the suspect was injured.
The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Police say the suspect was wearing a black shirt and mask.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the suspect is connected to the killing of a Lyft driver in Garland earlier in the day.
