Plano police need help identifying horse abuse suspect
PLANO, TX – Plano police are looking for a person captured on security video abusing a horse at a farm near East Parker Road on the northern edge of the city.
According to police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Feb. 21. The barn manager confronted the suspect, who reportedly said he was “just petting the horses” and ran away. Police did not disclose the nature or extent of the abuse.
Police asked anyone with information about the identity or location of the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477. The case number is #21-33151. Tipsters may be eligible to receive up to $5,000 for information that leads to the person’s arrest and indictment.
