PLANO, TX – Plano residents interested in serving their community are invited to apply for a spot on a city board or commission. Applications are due Aug. 28 and may be filed online.

Candidates can submit a resume or a brief video to further outline their qualifications, according to an announcement by the city.

All appointees to Plano’s boards, commissions, and committees must have been residents of the city for at least a year. A current, valid voter registration is also required. In addition, applicants for final decision-making boards cannot have a financial interest in a contract with the city.
